Privacy Policy
Last updated: 18 October 2026
This policy explains what personal information Vireon Digital collects when you visit vireondigital.shop or buy from us, how we use it, and the rights you have over it under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).
Who we are
Vireon Digital is the data controller. You can contact us about anything in this policy at info@vireondigital.shop.
What we collect
- Order details — your name, email address, billing country and details of what you bought, so we can deliver your files and keep records.
- Payment information — card and payment details are entered on our checkout provider’s secure page and handled by them and their payment processors. We never see or store your full card number.
- Messages — anything you send us by email, such as a support request.
- Newsletter sign-ups — your email address, only if you choose to subscribe.
- Technical information — like most websites, our host records basic data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, to keep the site running and secure.
How and why we use it
- To fulfil your order and provide support — necessary to perform our contract with you.
- To keep financial and tax records — required by law.
- To send our newsletter — only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email.
- To keep the site secure and working and prevent fraud — our legitimate interests.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decisions that significantly affect you.
Who we share it with
We only share information with service providers who help us run the shop, such as our website host and online store platform (Hostinger), our payment processors, our email provider, and Google Fonts, which supplies the typefaces on this site and receives your IP address when the page loads. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, they use safeguards recognised under UK law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy regulations. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Cookies and browser storage
Our shop saves the contents of your cart in your own browser’s local storage so it is still there when you come back. This stays on your device and is not sent to us. Our checkout and payment providers may set cookies that are strictly necessary for secure payment. We do not use advertising cookies. If we add analytics or marketing tools in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep order and transaction records for six years, as required for UK tax purposes. Support emails are kept for up to two years. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your personal information, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to have it transferred to you or another organisation, and to withdraw consent at any time. To use any of these rights, email info@vireondigital.shop. We will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last changed.
